Dr Barbara Audycka

Zakład Socjourbanistyki i Studiów nad Konfliktem

Socjolożka, specjalistka do spraw mieszkalnictwa i polityki mieszkaniowej. Ukończyła Międzywydziałowe Indywidualne Studia Humanistyczne na Uniwersytecie Jagiellońskim, na Uniwersytecie Warszawskim obroniła doktorat poświęcony ruchom lokatorskim. Przez wiele lat pracowała w obszarze polskiej polityki mieszkaniowej, pełniąc rolę rzeczniczki organizacji pozarządowej oraz ekspertki w programach Ministerstwa Rozwoju, Instytutu Rozwoju Miast i Regionów i projektach samorządowych. Od roku 2020 adiunktka w Instytucie Stosowanych Nauk Społecznych oraz wykładowczyni i członkini zespołu kierowniczego interdyscyplinarnych Studiów Miejskich UW. W latach 2024-2027 polska kierowniczka projektu EqualHouse: From Housing Inequality to Sustainable, Inclusive and Affordable Housing Solutions w ramach programu Horizon Europe.

Sociologist, specialist in housing and housing policy. She graduated from the Inter-faculty Individual Studies in the Humanities at the Jagiellonian University, and defended her PhD thesis dedicated to tenants’ movements at the University of Warsaw. For many years, she worked in the field of Polish housing policy, serving as a spokesperson for a non-governmental organization and as an expert in programs of the Ministry of Development, the Institute of Urban and Regional Development, and local government projects. Since 2020, she has been an assistant professor at the Institute of Applied Social Sciences, as well as a lecturer and member of the management team of the interdisciplinary Urban Studies at the University of Warsaw. In the years 2024–2027, she is the Polish project manager for EqualHouse: From Housing Inequality to Sustainable, Inclusive and Affordable Housing Solutions under the Horizon Europe program.
